History Of Ancient Crafts

Bevagna is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and to get to know its history and to accurately reconstruct a cross-section of medieval life, the “History of Ancient Crafts” provides an extremely unusual journey to the past. By means of guided visits to four ancient workshops: the paper-maker’s, the silk-factory, the coin-maker’s and the spice-merchant’s, it is possible to immerse yourself in an evocative and fascinating atmosphere.
You experience an intense recalling of everyday life in a medieval community, but still maintaining the highest historical accuracy.
A complete and detailed reconstruction of the handicrafts of the period is achieved with the help of the instruments, the setting and all the stages of production.
