In the "UNDER" addressing issues relating to the geology of the Umbria: the formation of the three major mountain ranges in Umbria, the ancient Tiber lake, the life environment of the ammonites, the Marmore Falls, the formation of caves.
In the "UP" is the natural aspect of the Apennines, the flora and fauna through a series of educational games that lead to reading the signs and traces that animals leave in the area, the study of trees with their leaves and fruits ... all through interactive courses and experiences which will inspire adults and children.
The new home of the ticket office is at the Tourist Reception Centre "A window on Nera River" in Piazza G. Marconi, behind the monumental fountain.
The new building used as Infopoint broadens the range of Polino museum in the settlement system with the aim to increase the usability and enjoyment of the town and the region. At the Infopoint is possible to acquire information about the history of Polino, on the monuments, traditions and the museum, through the use of an instrument that guides tourists through theme trails virtually.
