From The Old To The New World

Very special edition, which explores the relationship between the Old and New World music, European music since the early engagement in the lands across the ocean between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, and that leads us in Mexico, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil and the USA.

A novel route, which takes a look at the origins of musical traditions alive, but virtually unexplored to this day, such as Creole and mestizo born of the encounter between the Spanish conquistadores and the indigenous peoples of the New World. Pesenti sacred music will be found in Latin America and composed by famous missionary-era music educators, one of all the Tuscan Domenico Zipoli.
