The museum, housed in a palace dating to XVIII century, is divided into three sections: archaeological, documentary and art history.
The works, which is closely related to local history, illustrate the story of Bevagna from pre-Roman times to the eighteenth century; Mevania ancient archaeological materials, medieval papers and paintings of many artists including Dono Doni, the Fantino and Corrado Giaquinto .
Visitors are given the opportunity to integrate the visit thanks to a small town excursion includes a visit to the Theatre "Francesco Torti" (late nineteenth century) and the extraordinary Roman bath building. This keeps inside a beautiful mosaic floor
(second century AD.) in black and white tiles with figures related to sea world.
