Many Outstanding Works Of Contemporary Art

Visual Arts from 1962 to 2000.
Opened in 2000 at the noble Collicola Palace, the Municipal Gallery of Modern Art in Spoleto was recently named to the final destination of the complex that will become a center for contemporary art.
Attendance international artists: from abstract painter Carla Accardi and Piero Dorazio, the Arte Povera of Mario Ceroli and Pino Pascali, the informal Burri and the  contrasts of Giuseppe Uncini, to name a few.
Many outstanding works of contemporary art from the acquisitions of Spoleto Award, from the collection donated by the illustrious art historian Giovanni Carandente and a rich section dedicated to the great sculptor from Spoleto Leoncillo Leonardi.
