| Historic Museum Of The Perugina Factory in Perugia | |
![]() Located inside the present-day Perugina factory, this museum covers the history of this very important chocolate factory, where the beloved "Bacio Perugina" was created – a hazelnut chocolate known in all the world for its "love message" contained inside, as well as its undeniable deliciousness. This museum offers visitors an exciting look through history through photos, films, wrappings, packaging, machines and the many sweets that went along with the growth of the Perugina, from its original homemade laboratory in 1907 for the creation of confetti candies, to its modern-day industrial production. The section dedicated to the Perugina and its advertising is an original, fun part of the museum: from the Carosello programme to the most recent tv spots, to the Four Musketeers Figurine Competition, which became a cult for collectors, to the BaciOne or the largest chocolate in the world. This museum honours a tradition and phenomenon which entire generations of Italians have enjoyed. |
