Flight Tests At The Trasimeno Lake
BACK THE KITES TO COLOUR THE SKIES IN CASTIGLIONE DEL LAGO FROM 28 APRIL TO 1 MAY
Come from all over Italy, as well as France, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Turkey, Luxembourg, kites and fans of balloons for 20 years will gather on the shores of Lake Trasimeno to the traditional international meeting.
From April 28 to May 1 return "Color the Skies/Coloriamo i Cieli", one of the most significant and popular exhibitions of kites and balloons, organized by the Municipality of Castiglione del Lago in collaboration with the Association of kites fans from Trasimeno, at the Eleuteri ex-airport area, in the Trasimeno Regional Park.
More than one hundred hectares of pristine green will hosting this XX edition and will be filled with many initiatives dedicated to the flight. But not only.
Since Color the Skies is now several editions a container for events that tell the Trasimeno, an opportunity for reflection on environmental issues, preservation and enhancement of the territory, its beauty and typical with many special guests and involvement of associations, institutions and schools.
The program of the event - available on www.coloriamoicieli.com - will unfold in a series of events that will be the link between the flight area and the old town of Castiglione del Lago.
Among the news of this edition, the exhibition of kites to celebrate the twentieth anniversary "20 years of Kites to Color the Skies", dedicated to the creations of Oliviero Olivieri, first in Italy to take an interest in the '70 to the "adult" kite and creator of Color the Skies.
Another news is the Fair Publishing dedicated to environment and kids, "We fly with the books", besides the market exhibition of kites, toys and educational equipment for leisure.
Reconfirm the many initiatives promoting the products and the local cuisine, such as trade show 'QUALITY' TRASIMENO ', with many stands set up on the former airport that set out the culinary excellence of the territory and biological products, which this year have their own space within the BioFest.
In addition, many initiatives dedicated to children, balloon flights, tours devoted to art, trekking to the discovery of Lake Trasimeno and the surrounding area, horseback riding and mountain biking.

20,000 kites made of some of the local schools and workshops set up during the days of the event;
100 hectares available for the event at the former airport Eleuteri.
The event boasts the patronage of the Ministry of 'Environment and Heritage and Culture.
