In June 2009 saw the inauguration of the Archaeological Section of the museum, which begins the exhibition. Among the most important pieces of the collection include a magnificent marble head of Aphrodite dating from the imperial media.
There are numerous Etruscan remains preserved: memorial stones and rare examples of architectural terracotta tular witness the origins of the territory.
The exhibition continues with the Art Museum, housed in the floor of Palazzo Biancalana, still retains the character of nineteenth-century private residence, and in the hall of fourteenth-century Palazzo del Podestà. Amomg the paintings stands out the St. Anthony of Padua and Our Lady of Mercy of Pietro Vannucci known as Perugino, a beautiful Nativity on panel, a masterpiece by Dono Doni, and a pair of paintings by Jusepe de Ribera said Spagnoletto depicting St. Peter and St. Paul.
The collection is completed with diverse products of considerable interest, including plaster and ceramic materials and interesting examples of sculpture, like the polychrome wooden crucifix attributed to Agostino di Duccio and the St. Anthony school Della Robbia glazed terracotta.
